BloxClips Private MVP Scope

Audit date: 2026-09-03 (Asia/Manila)

Business objective

Move the first approximately 25 high-volume private creators from Whop Content Rewards to BloxClips without requiring the broader product roadmap to be complete.

MVP workflow

text
Client -> Whop invoice -> verified payment -> attributable campaign funding
-> finance-authorized launch -> permitted creator access -> submission
-> accountable review + status-independent recurring tracking -> metric history
-> fraud hold/review -> CPM budget debit + RPM creator earning
-> payout eligibility -> idempotent Whop balance transfer
-> financial/audit records and required analytics

Whop Support Chat remains available alongside this workflow.

Included capabilities

  • Google or another working creator sign-in and a stable application identity.
  • Private-cohort and campaign access enforcement.
  • Draft, launch, pause, resume, end, and archive behavior with backend finance permissions.
  • Whop Invoice creation, payment verification, idempotent reconciliation, and campaign attribution.
  • TikTok, Instagram Reel, and YouTube submission with account ownership and canonical duplicate checks.
  • Paginated staff review with reliable transitions, reviewer attribution, reasons, and history.
  • Backend-owned nextPollAt scheduling, durable ScrapeJob execution, reconciliation, metric observations, and failure recovery for all three platforms.
  • Explicit CPM (campaign consumption) and RPM (creator earning), precise arithmetic, rate precedence, caps, and budget exhaustion.
  • Campaign-specific Clipper Groups, membership history, RPM, archival, and group analytics.
  • Rule-based fraud signals, payout holds, staff resolution, and audit history.
  • Whop company-balance-to-user-balance payouts with reservation, idempotency, unknown-state reconciliation, and campaign attribution.
  • Custom staff roles and permissions, with backend enforcement for sensitive actions.
  • Creator, staff, campaign, group, and revocable read-only sponsor report analytics needed to operate the rollout.

Explicitly deferred

  • Marketing/Jestr redesign, UGC applications, complete embedded Whop app experience, auto-submit, Discord cleanup, legacy PV Tracker work, speculative scaling rewrites, perfect observability, and unrelated technical debt.
  • Bank, PayPal, Stripe Connect, or crypto payout rails for this MVP. Existing implementations may remain isolated during migration, but cannot be the authoritative MVP payout path.
  • A dedicated audit-log UI unless owners separately require it; the reliable underlying trail is in scope.
  • A general double-entry accounting platform. Append-only funding, budget, earning, allocation, transfer, and audit facts are sufficient for the one-currency MVP.

Resolved owner decisions

  • Active membership in a campaign-specific Clipper Group grants access to that private campaign; there are no global groups.
  • The highest numerical RPM wins across campaign RPM, all active applicable group RPMs, and the individual creator override; overlapping group membership is allowed.
  • A revocable read-only sponsor/client analytics link is included in MVP and implemented by issue #67. It exposes approved campaign report metrics through server-side tokens and remains read-only.
  • Fraud uses rule-based holds with manual release, a tentative seven-day finality period that must be reconfirmed during implementation, and recovery-due records for confirmed post-payment corrections.
